What's new in V2.0

  • 🔔 Alerts kahit sarado si Ryel — medicine, reminders, birthdays and anniversaries pop up on your phone (Settings → Alerts). Works on Android and iPhone. iPhone: add Ryel to the Home Screen first.
  • ☁️ Ryel account + cloud backup — sign in with Google or a recovery code (no password). Your chats, memory, buddies and care info back up daily and come back on a new phone.
  • 🔐 Lost phone? Log out all devices — and erase Ryel on the lost phone when it goes online. You get an alert when someone signs in on a new phone.
  • 👨‍👩‍👧 Pamilya Link — Lolo, Lola or your parents can share if they're okay today, if they took their medicine, and alert you if they press SOS. You can send "Kumusta po?" and Ryel reads it to them. Their chats stay private.

          Is Ryel free?
          Yes. While Ryel is in beta, everything is free and unlimited. After launch there will still be a free plan every day.
          
      
          Ryel says “try again later” — what now?
          Wait a minute and try again. If it keeps happening, tap Report a problem so we can fix it.
          
      
          Why is Ryel quiet sometimes?
          Ryel's natural voice has a free daily allowance. When it's used up, Ryel stays quiet for the rest of the day and you can read the reply instead. The voice comes back tomorrow. To stop Ryel talking anytime, tap Stop or just say or type “stop”.
          
      
          How do I install Ryel like an app?
          iPhone: open in Safari → Share ⬆ → Add to Home Screen. Android: Chrome → ⋮ → Install app / Add to Home screen. PC: Chrome or Edge → install icon in the address bar.
          
      
          Are my chats private?
          Your chats and memory are saved only on this phone. To answer, your message is sent to Ryel's AI partners (listed in Terms & Privacy). Don't send passwords, OTPs, ID or bank details. Cloud backup (⚙ Settings → Account) is optional and encrypted.
          
      
          Ryel doesn't hear me well
          Hold the phone about a hand away and speak normally — Ryel listens and writes it down, Taglish is fine. It stops by itself when you stop talking; if it says “tap the mic again when done”, tap 🎤 again when you finish. Check ⚙ Settings → Voice → Mic language.
          
      
          How do I change the quick buttons?
          Tap More ▸ at the end of the buttons → ✏️ Edit. Untick what you don't use, move favourites up with ⤒, or add your own (e.g. “Bus to work”). The first 4 show on the main screen.
          
      
          How do I stop Ryel talking?
          Tap ⏹ Stop at the top of the screen, tap ⏹ on the reply, or just say or type “stop”, “tama na” or “hunong na”.
          
      
          Ryel said something wrong
          Tap the reply → ⚑ Wrong answer, or 🔎 Check this to fact-check it with a web search. Live facts always show "✓ checked" with the source.
          
      
          Old version still showing?
          Close Ryel completely and open it again (twice on iPhone). The bottom of Settings shows the version.
